ACU Athletics is searching for a dedicated leader to execute a comprehensive ticket sales plan as either the Assistant Athletic Director or Director of Ticket Sales.
This unit reports to the Associate Vice President/CRO for Athletics and works collaboratively with the Athletics Ticketing, Marketing, Communications and Advancement offices to sell tickets and steward relationships with ticket holders and donors. This sales driven leader will support the ticketing office as needed but focus primarily on generating increased revenues through ticket sales for the athletic department.
This leader must be organized and self-motivated. She or he must be skilled in fast paced problem solving, creating and executing strategic annual sales plans, communicating with all customers and campus partners while maintaining excellent customer service. This individual will oversee multiple part time employees.
Foundational responsibilities will include:
Create a strategic, multi-year sales plan for all ticketed sports
Develop an expertise with the department ticket software platform
Oversee daily sales operations
Continually explore and enhance revenue generating opportunities in ticketing

Create a strategic, multi-year sales plan for all ticketed sports
Focus on increasing season ticket holders
Develop customer retention strategies
Promote ticket sales incentives, group sales, mini plans and other creative solutions to increase attendance.
Develop an expertise with the department ticket software platform
Serve as a manager for software and liaison with necessary campus partners
Oversee daily sales operations
Create a set of policies and procedures to build out a year-round sales operation.
Ensure all front line workers are equipped to sell and generate revenue.
Continually explore and enhance revenue generating opportunities in ticketing
Develop and maintain a package of revenue enhancing ideas, products, and services to continually find new sources and opportunities to grow revenue

Professional
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree.
At least 1 year of responsible experience in ticket operations, with some supervisory or management experience preferred.
