
The Head Dance Coach will plan and conduct practices, choreograph and teach routines, coordinate performances and competition preparation, and manage all administrative aspects of the program, including recruitment, budgeting, scheduling, and compliance with institutional policies. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, as well as a commitment to mentoring student-athletes and promoting sportsmanship and school spirit.
Reporting to the Associate VP for Athletics the Head Dance Coach will collaborate with campus partners to enhance game-day experiences, community engagement initiatives, and campus events. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for student development, a commitment to diversity and inclusion, and the ability to represent Brevard College with professionalism and integrity.

A Bachelor's degree is required, Master’s degree preferred. Desired qualifications include collegiate coaching experience, preferably at the NCAA level, experience competing or coaching at regional or national dance competitions and demonstrated success in recruiting student-athletes and building a competitive program.
At the College’s discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be excepted when the candidate can demonstrate, to the satisfaction of the College, an equivalent combination of education and experience to prepare the candidate for success in the position.
