POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Head Coach, this position has the responsibility for assisting the head coach with all aspects of a Division I Lacrosse program. This is a full-time, 12-month position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coach, develop, and implement player and team development through practice and conditioning activities.
Organizes and conducts practices and games.
Provides academic counseling and monitoring of Student-Athlete progress.
Assists with scheduling, team travel, and equipment.
Recruits quality student-athletes.
Completes other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution.
Complete knowledge of and ability to comply with all NCAA and Atlantic 10 Conference rules and regulations.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to be flexible with work schedule.
Proficiency in the use of computers and knowledge of MS office Suite.
Preferred qualifications:
A candidate with defensive and goalkeeping coaching experience.
