
Essential Duties
Work closely with and provide support to the Athletic Development Staff to assist in the development of on-going fundraising plans and priorities.
Lead the reconciliation process of weekly and monthly fundraising data reports.
Update and maintain all former student-athletes records and data lists.
Lead the communication strategy of all development events and engagement newsletters.
Assist in the execution of special donor events including scheduling, coordination, and implementation.
Build and manage crowdfunding campaigns, online giving forms, and event registration pages to support fundraising initiatives and donor engagement.
Assist in the donor data process and prospecting for Assistant Athletic Director for Development and the Associate Athletic Director for Development.
Administer football suite and loge, men’s and women’s basketball suite and court side seating hospitality and service in coordination with the University Dining and Catering.
Assist in the preparation of materials and presentations for special projects and committees including presentation packets for gift solicitations, committee, board and volunteer meetings.
Other Duties
Attend athletics related meetings when requested.
Work cooperatively with athletics professional staff to further the athletic fundraising goals.
Work effectively and cooperatively with coaches, student-athletes and volunteers.
Other duties as assigned by Associate Athletic Director for Development.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required with interest in development, marketing or communications preferred.
Must meet the admission requirements for EMU's Graduate School and the University's eligibility requirements to serve as a graduate assistant.
Ability to manage, plan, organize, set priorities and establish work objectives, follow through on assignments; exhibit flexibility; and provide feedback.
Proficient in personal computing skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point; willingness to learn donor management programs, and communications module; Adobe Creative Cloud experience desired.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
This role requires a 2-year commitment - Anticipated Start Date: Aug 31, 2026

Working Conditions
Ability to manage an irregular work schedule including evenings, early mornings, and weekends. May involve use of personal transportation to travel to events.
Experience participating in or working in athletics is preferred.
Ability to work 20 hours a week plus an additional nine if necessary.
