Position Summary

Every True Tiger Brands (ETTB), the official marketing agency supporting University of Missouri student-athletes, is seeking a highly motivated and organized professional to serve as Director of Student-Athlete Branding & NIL Operations.

This position serves as a key representative of Every True Tiger Brands, working directly with Missouri student-athletes, coaches, corporate partners, and University stakeholders to execute NIL initiatives and enhance the student-athlete experience. The Director will play a critical role in facilitating NIL Go submissions, coordinating marketing campaigns, managing ETT's social media presence, and creating branding opportunities that help student-athletes maximize their name, image, and likeness.

The Director will also oversee the execution of sponsor activations, coordinate campaign logistics, support student-athlete education and engagement, and ensure NIL opportunities are delivered efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidate is highly organized, relationship-driven, creative, and thrives in a fast-paced collegiate athletics environment while balancing multiple projects and priorities.

Essential Responsibilities

NIL Operations & Compliance

  • Facilitate and manage all NIL Go submissions for student-athletes, ensuring complete and timely processing.

  • Serve as a resource for student-athletes, coaches, and staff regarding NIL policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Coordinate with ETT leadership, OpenDorse, Compass NIL Go, and University personnel to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

  • Maintain detailed records and documentation related to NIL activities and approvals.

Marketing & Campaign Execution

  • Coordinate and schedule ETT-related marketing campaigns involving student-athletes, sponsors, and community partners.

  • Manage campaign logistics, timelines, deliverables, and communication between all parties.

  • Ensure student-athletes fulfill contractual obligations related to NIL activations and marketing initiatives.

  • Track campaign performance and assist with reporting metrics as needed.

Student-Athlete Support & Event Coordination

  • Assist in coordinating NIL education programs, workshops, and student-athlete development initiatives.

  • Facilitate appearances, autograph sessions, community events, photo shoots, and other NIL-related activations.

  • Support student-athletes throughout the execution of NIL opportunities to ensure a positive experience for all stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with ETT staff on special projects, recruiting support initiatives, and organizational priorities.

Social Media & Digital Engagement

  • Manage and oversee ETT social media accounts and digital content strategy.

  • Develop, schedule, and publish content highlighting student-athlete stories, NIL partnerships, community impact initiatives, and organizational announcements.

  • Coordinate with internal staff, student-athletes, and creative partners to generate engaging content.

  • Monitor social media engagement and identify opportunities to increase visibility and audience growth.

Student-Athlete Branding & Development

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned sport programs regarding NIL and branding initiatives.

  • Assist student-athletes in identifying, developing, and maximizing personal brand opportunities.

  • Facilitate connections between student-athletes and businesses, community organizations, and marketing partners.

  • Provide guidance on personal branding, social media presence, professional communication, and content creation.

  • Coordinate branding opportunities that align with student-athlete interests, goals, and marketability.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Proficiency with social media platforms and digital content management.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with student-athletes, coaches, donors, sponsors, and business partners.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in collegiate athletics, sports marketing, athlete representation, branding, fundraising, or related fields.

  • Familiarity with OpenDorse, NIL Go, Compass, or other NIL management platforms.

  • Experience managing social media accounts and executing marketing campaigns.

  • Understanding of NCAA, conference, institutional, and NIL regulations.
