
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree is preferred in Marketing, Business, Sports Management, Health and Human Performance, or related field. At least one year of work experience assisting in a collegiate or professional sports marketing/ticket sales office is preferred.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. This individual will work collaboratively with athletics administration, coaches, campus partners, corporate sponsors, donors, student-athletes, and community members.
Primary Responsibilities
Fan Experience & Game Day Operations
Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of athletic event promotions and entertainment initiatives.
Support the development of engaging fan experiences that enhance attendance, atmosphere, and overall event enjoyment.
Assist with coordinating on-field/court contests, recognitions, halftime entertainment, and special presentations.
Create and maintain game day materials including scripts, timing sheets, run-of-show documents, and operational checklists.
Assist with youth engagement initiatives, community outreach programs, and special fan activation opportunities.
Support game day preparation, execution, and post-event evaluation processes.
Sponsorship & Corporate Partnership Support
Assist with the fulfillment and execution of corporate sponsorship agreements.
Coordinate sponsor activation elements during athletic events and special programming.
Track, verify, and maintain sponsor inventory, benefits, and contractual obligations.
Assist with maintaining sponsorship databases, records, and fulfillment documentation.
Support sponsor hospitality initiatives and game day partner experiences.
Assist with tracking sponsorship payments, invoicing processes, and revenue documentation.
Help identify opportunities to improve sponsor engagement and partnership value.
Ticketing Operations & Revenue Generation
Assist with ticket sales initiatives, season ticket renewal campaigns, and revenue-generating efforts.
Support tailgate sales and premium experience opportunities.
Assist with game day ticket operations, including box office setup, customer service, and event support.
Create and maintain athletic events within the ticketing platform.
Assist with student ticketing initiatives, promotions, and campus engagement efforts.
Respond to ticket inquiries through phone, email, and in-person communication.
Support efforts to improve attendance, customer experience, and ticket revenue.
Special Events & External Engagement
Assist with the planning and execution of athletics fundraising, donor, and community engagement events, including:
Tiger Auction & Dinner
Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
Tiger Club Events
Student-Athlete Awards Programs
Coordinate event logistics including registration, guest services, setup, and event execution.
Assist with donor and alumni engagement opportunities.
Support event communication, scheduling, and follow-up efforts.
Marketing & Communications Support
Assist with the creation and distribution of promotional materials and fan communications.
Support email marketing campaigns, promotional messaging, and event announcements.
Assist with social media content development and promotional initiatives.
Help design and distribute schedules, posters, digital graphics, and marketing materials.
Support student engagement initiatives across campus.
Collaborate with athletics staff to promote events, programs, and revenue opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working in collegiate athletics, sports management, marketing, sales, events, or related fields preferred.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Photoshop, preferred.
Graphic design experience with digital and print marketing materials preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
Comfortable working in a sales-oriented environment and developing relationships with partners, donors, and fans.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and athletic events.
Compensation:
Stipend of $6,000.00 (paid in monthly installments over 10 months) and tuition assistance. Position can be extended for a second year based on academic and administrative performance evaluation.
