
Reporting to the Assistant Athletics Director for Marketing and Fan Engagement, this position assists with the planning, creation, and implementation of all marketing and promotional campaigns for Fresno State Athletics. Responsibilities include: leading all marketing and fan engagement efforts for assigned sports while serving in a support capacity for football and men’s basketball, assisting in the management of the department’s primary social media platforms and digital media branding and marketing efforts, creating and executing campus and student marketing efforts, and developing and executing general promotional and fan engagement efforts with an emphasis on growing the fan base and revenue generation. Additional responsibilities include conceptualizing and developing creative and consistent promotional initiatives that educate, inspire, and engage external audiences; promoting single-game, group ticket, and season ticket sales campaigns for ticketed sports programs; and serving as the lead marketing liaison for assigned sports.
(Essential Job Functions)
· Assist in the daily operations of the athletics marketing and fan engagement efforts.
· Lead all marketing and fan engagement efforts for assigned sports, including all off-season promotional efforts, creation of the marketing and season-long promotional plan, and planning/execution of game day production.
· Serve in a support capacity for football and men’s basketball game day execution, including assisting Director of Marketing and Fan Engagement in all production, on-field promotions, fan engagement efforts, etc.
· Serve as in-venue DJ at home Football games
· Create and coordinate various marketing efforts and gameday production responsibilities for other assigned sports.
· Assist in the management of the department’s social media efforts, including management of the main athletics accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok, and new and emerging social media platforms.
· Identify and implement new social media and digital media marketing strategies.
· Lead efforts to create and sustain brand consistency on all social media and emerging media platforms.
· Collaborate within athletics marketing, communications, Bulldog Vision and production services, ticket operations, development, and game operations on revenue generation projects.
· Assist with student and campus engagement activities in partnership with the University.
· Serve as a liaison for grassroots on-campus, student outreach marketing efforts.
· Help develop creative and consistent promotional season, group and single game ticket sales campaigns.
· Assist in the management of marketing budget in accordance with established guidelines.
