
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Sport Administration, Sports Management, Business Administration, Higher Education, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
3-5 years of experience in collegiate athletics administration, conference office operations, championship administration, event management, or facility operations, preferably at the NCAA Division I level.

Key Responsibilities:
Sport Administration & Championships:
Oversee all aspects of the operation and administration of assigned Olympic sports and championships.
Plan, coordinate, and execute Conference championships for assigned sports, including budgets, logistics, and game operations.
Provide direct supervision and leadership to the Directors of Sport Administration, ensuring the effective administration of assigned sports, championships, and Conference initiatives while fostering professional growth and operational excellence.
Conduct coaches’ group meetings for assigned sports to facilitate communication and decision-making.
Assist in the development and implementation of in-season, championship, and administrative policies for assigned sports.
Oversee officiating operations for assigned sports and collaborate with Coordinators of Officials to ensure quality and consistency.
Develop Conference schedules for assigned sports.
Oversee ticketing operations for all Conference championships, including pricing, sales, reporting, customer service, and coordination with host institutions and ticketing partners.
Manage Conference equipment and official supplier relationships, including oversight of equipment contracts, vendor partnerships, inventory, and fulfillment of contractual obligations.
Work closely with host institutions, vendors, and partners to ensure all event requirements are met.
Oversee the coordination of statistics, public relations efforts, and record keeping in collaboration with the media relations staff for assigned sports and championships.
Awards & Participant Gifts
Oversee the procurement, inventory, and distribution of all Conference awards, trophies, medals, and participant gifts, ensuring consistency with Conference branding standards and budget objectives.
Coordinate the selection, ordering, and distribution of participant gifts for Conference championships and special events, working closely with member institution administrators, coaches, and vendors to ensure timely delivery.
Event & Championship Support:
Assist in the planning and on-site execution of the annual men’s and women’s basketball championships.
Assist in the planning and execution of all NCAA championships hosted by the Conference.
Committee & Administrative Support:
Assist in preparing meeting materials and presentations for the Committee on Athletics Administration (COAA) and Sport Management Committee (SMC) meetings.
Work collaboratively with Conference staff and institutional representatives on strategic initiatives and operational needs.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Commissioner and Senior Associate Commissioner for Sport Administration/SWA.
Reporting Structure:
Reports to the Senior Associate Commissioner, Sport Administration/SWA.
Salary:
Commensurate with experience.

Working Conditions:
This position is based at the Conference office.
This position requires the ability to travel and work non-traditional hours, weekends, nights and holidays.
This position includes required attendance at select Olympic sport championships, the Conference’s Basketball Championships and NCAA-hosted events.
