
Assistant Coach Responsibilities include
Support the head coach in developing and implementing strategies to successfully recruit, yield, mentor, and retain a diverse group of academically and athletically talented student-athletes.
Assist the head coach in all aspects of running a competitive collegiate basketball program.
Assist with recruiting, including: in-person events and tournaments, communication with recruits including over email, text and phone calls. Logging all recruitment activities within the FrontRush recruiting platform.
Attend high school games as assigned by the head coach.
Organize and manage training programs for assigned positional groups.
Create social media content to highlight the team and help in alum connections and recruiting.
Attend and support team needs at all practices and contests.
Create a team environment which allows all student-athletes to grow and develop as students, as athletes, as leaders, and as individuals.
Promote a culture of health, well-being, and safety in all aspects of the intercollegiate varsity basketball team.
Support and execute the head coach's vision, philosophy, and strategic plan by consistently reinforcing the team's cultural standards.
Assist with the organizing and planning of practices and games.
Other duties as assigned by the head coach.
Co-Equipment Room Manager
Principle job responsibilities for the co-equipment manager include, but are not limited to: coordinating with the other co-equipment room manager to supervise all varsity sport equipment, varsity equipment upkeep, varsity equipment maintenance, and shared oversight of the PAWS mascot program; supervise varsity team uniforms and inventories; and assisting the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Facilities with duties as assigned.

Game Day Manager Duties
Game Day Manager for select home field hockey games
PAWS Mascot Program (Shared Duty)
Organize PAWS appearances for home contests and special events
Hire and train student workers to perform PAWS duties

The ability to foster positive relationships with student-athletes and promote a positive team culture at a competitive liberal arts college with highly selective academic standards.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to efficiently carry tasks out to completion.
Member of the NEWMAC and NCAA Division III.
CPR/AED certification
Valid drivers license

Hiring Range: $54,425 - $61,229
