JOB SUMMARY

The Events & Facilities Graduate Assistant reports to the Events & Facilities Coordinator and assists with the coordination of athletic events and management of facilities for 14 NCAA Division II programs.

MAJOR DUTIES

Assist with game day operations, including setup, breakdown, and staffing.

Support facility scheduling and coordination for practices and competitions.

Assist with event logistics, scripts, and game management operations.

Coordinate with campus partners for facility needs and maintenance.

Support special events such as tournaments, camps, and banquets.

Assist with inventory and equipment management.

Provide customer service to teams, officials, and spectators.

Follow and abide by all institutional, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.

Perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed in office settings and athletic facilities. Requires lifting, standing, and working evenings, weekends, and holidays.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree

Admission to a graduate program at Northeastern State University

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in event management or athletics operations

Compensation includes tuition waiver for graduate classes, on-campus housing waiver, and a monthly stipend.
