
OVERVIEW
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock (Little Rock Athletics) is seeking a Facilities & Event Management Associate. Reporting to the Associate AD for Facilities & Operations and the Assistant AD for Facilities & Event Management, the Associate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing all phases of a Division I Facilities & Events Management program including, but not limited to event management, facility maintenance, food and beverage operations, department camps and all sanctioned non-athletic events.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide supervision for all athletic facilities
Serve as primary/secondary event manager for both athletics sponsored events
Manage set-up and breakdown for athletics sponsored events
Facility maintenance progress
Keep inventory of all facility storage
Coordinate a team of Game Day Event Staff
Other Duties as Assigned
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s Degree
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Master’s Degree
Experience in Division I Athletic Facilities & Operations Setting
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must be able to develop meaningful and productive relationships with colleagues and coaches
Strong computer skills and related software capability
Excellent management, organizational, analytical, and project management skills
Ability to meet established deadlines and work effectively with diverse groups of internal and
external constituents
Ability to work on weekends, nights, and holidays when necessary
Ability to analyze, interpret, communicate, and adhere to Trojan Athletics, UA Little Rock, Ohio
Valley Conference, and NCAA policies, procedures, rules, and regulations
Acceptance of the position is reliable on being accepted to Graduate School
