
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work with a caseload of student-athletes to facilitate the development of academic and time
management skills.
• Support Academic Counselors in efforts to aid in the retention, development, and graduation of
student-athletes.
• Monitor and document student-athlete weekly academic progress as it pertains to NCAA, Big
Ten, and institutional guidelines.
• Identify and evaluate student-athlete needs for additional academic resources.
• Effectively supervise student-athletes in study hall/academic practice while maintaining a
positive, effective learning environment for all students.
• Assist with the scholarship textbook distribution process.
• Assist with end of term grade finalization and reporting procedures.
• Participate in, arrange, and host recruiting sessions with prospective student-athletes.
