
ASSISTANT COACH – WOMEN’S TENNIS

Assist Head coach in all aspects of running a Division I Women’s Tennis program. Position requires working irregular hours. Compliance with all institutional, conference, and NCAA rules. Attendance at all monthly compliance rules education meetings. Collaboration with all support areas who serve support program to ensure positive student-athlete experience. Represent self, team, and institution as a positive role- model and ambassador at all times. Engagement with and event planning for letter-winner alumni. Promote individual student-athlete and team achievements on social media.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience, plus two years’ coaching or competitive experience required. Strong technical/tennis instruction skills required. Excellent leadership and communication skills essential. Ability to understand and demonstrate a commitment to NCAA, Big Ten, and University regulations necessary. Preferred qualifications: Prefer competitive tournament experience in collegiate and/or professional levels. Criminal history background check will be conducted.
