
The University of North Alabama is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Athletic Trainer. This position is responsible for assisting in the development, administration, and supervision of the athletic training program designated by the associate athletic director for sports medicine. This position also assists in coordinating and executing all primary and secondary insurance claims concerning student athlete injury and treatment. Final title (Assistant Trainer, Assistant Head Trainer, Associate Head Trainer), salary grade, and salary will be determined by the selected candidate's education and experience. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in health/physical education or athletic training is required; Master’s degree is preferred; collegiate-level athletic training experience is strongly preferred; National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification Certified, required; eligible for licensure in the state of Alabama, required; and current and ongoing CPR certification is required.
