
The Assistant Football Strength & Conditioning Performance Coach will assist the Director of Football Strength and Conditioning Performance Coach with all aspects of the sports performance program including but not limited to practice competition activities, player skill development, recruiting, directing and implementing plans for daily practices and competitions, organizing and administering clinics etc. and overall administrative tasks within the operation of the program. Must demonstrate integrity, leadership, a strong commitment and ability to motivate, teach, counsel and recruit academically qualified students.
Independently take control over specific areas of Sports Performance program. Interpret the information given to us by our various technologies that break down exactly what each player position is required to do on game day for their respective sport, what qualities make each position successful and the strength and weaknesses for each one of our athletes.
Requires an understanding of technology and training methods specific to each device.
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree required (or foreign degree equivalent) with at least 1 year of experience in relevant independent instructional or educational activities; specific minimum experience is at the discretion of the Director of Athletics.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
2-5 years of coaching experience in an intercollegiate environment preferably at a Division I level. Knowledge of and familiarity of NCAA rules and regulations. Good organizational, interpersonal communications and computer skills necessary.
