Assists in strategy development; ensures regulation adherence. Manages compliance monitoring. Monitors NCAA rules. Coordinates certificates of eligibility and maintains communications with NCAA officials.

Job Summary

Assists in strategy development; ensures regulation adherence. Manages compliance monitoring. Monitors NCAA rules. Coordinates certificates of eligibility and maintains communications with NCAA officials.

Essential Functions 

• Oversees daily operations of the Athletics Compliance Office.

• Assists in formulating and implementing strategies and systems for University athletic programs to ensure rules and regulations are followed.

• Processes and manages compliance files and confidential NCAA/ACC/University reports.

• Manages the compliance monitoring process; Monitors NCAA rules, including Bylaws 11,13, and 16, and ensures university-wide adherence.

• Maintains regular contact with officials from the NCAA and the conference to obtain current and accurate information regarding regulations and compliance.

• Coordinates all certification of eligibility and oversees financial aid procedures within the Office of Intercollegiate Athletics in conjunction with campus certification officials.

• Documents, updates, and improves upon policies and procedures regarding student-athlete academic certification and monitoring.

• Develops and prepares submission of NCAA/ACC requests and reports. Contributes findings during compliance team meetings
