
The Assistant Director of Athletic Performance coordinates and directs all aspects of strength and conditioning training for assigned sports and assists with other teams as directed.
Primary Responsibilities:
Directs strength and conditioning training of assigned sports
Assists with department tasks, oversight and maintenance of facility
Assists with supervision of interns and volunteers
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Ability to educate student-athletes in strength and conditioning
Ability to educate student-athletes in lifestyle nutrition
Ability to educate student-athletes in regeneration methods
Ability to multi-task
Ability to supervise people
Ability to work well with others and maintain professional demeanor at all times
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of GPS data collection and analytics
Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Minimum: Requires a bachelor’s degree; Certifications from approved governing body (CSCCa, NSCA, USA-W), CPR/AED/First Aid); and two years of intercollegiate strength and conditioning experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Preferred: Experience with GPS or other wearable technology, and personal involvement in competitive sport are preferred.
