
Compensation for the position includes a monthly stipend ($1,000) and tuition remission.
Position Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
Recruitment of highly skilled and academically qualified student-athletes.
Monitor academic progress and eligibility, and effectively analyze and teach the fundamental skills and strategies of the sport.
Plan, organize, conduct, and evaluate practice sessions along with developing, implementing, and evaluating game plans and strategies.
Serve as a leader, mentor, and role model to the student-athletes of the program.
Oversee administrative processes and procedures as assigned.
Ensure compliance with all Department, University, NCAA, and GLVC policies, procedures, and regulations.
Required Qualifications
Applicant must be admitted into a graduate program at Upper Iowa University and maintain a Grade Point Average of 3.0.
Applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications
Applicants must have at least two years of experience (playing or coaching) within organized soccer (collegiate, club, high school, etc.) and an understanding of NCAA rules and regulations.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.
