Senior Associate AD, Event Management & Operations

The Opportunity:

As the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Event Management & Operations, you will provide strategic leadership and executive oversight of all athletic facilities and event operations at Washington State University. In this pivotal role, you will manage large-scale capital projects, oversee high-profile event execution, and ensure the efficient operation of athletic venues. As a key member of the executive team, you will partner with internal and external stakeholders to create a safe, engaging, and high-performing environment for student-athletes and the campus community.

You will report directly to the Deputy Director of Athletics, and serve as a key member of the department’s executive leadership team, contributing to strategic planning, policy development, and institutional coordination. You will act as the primary liaison with university facilities teams and external contractors/vendors, and play a critical role in creating a safe, compliant, and engaging environment that supports the success of student-athletes and enhances the overall university experience.
