Assistant Men's and Women's Volleyball Coach

Wheaton College, an NCAA Division III institution located in Norton, Massachusetts, is looking for a motivated, energetic, passionate and caring individual to assist our men’s and women’s volleyball programs. The Assistant Coach helps prepare the team for a full intercollegiate varsity season, including in-season practices, non-traditional season practices, scouting and game preparation. This person will also play an active role in identifying, evaluating, and recruiting qualified prospective student-athletes. A commitment to teaching and working within an environment that embraces the holistic development of the student-athlete is essential. Additionally, this person will serve in an administrative capacity as directed by the Athletic Administration. It is expected that this individual will complete their job while complying with all NCAA Division III, NEWMAC and Wheaton College rules and regulations.

• Teach, develop, and evaluate student-athlete’s skills, conditioning and sport knowledge for both programs. Be available for consultation and support for overall student-athlete well-being.

• Assist the head coaches to develop and execute a recruiting plan for prospective student-athletes. Communicate and build connections with prospective student-athletes and their families.

• Assist the head coaches to organize, create and execute plans for practices and intercollegiate varsity competitions.

• Serve in an administrative capacity as needed, including but not limited to game management or a secondary duty.
