
Wingate University is seeking a Head Women’s Volleyball Coach to lead its NCAA Division II program. This full-time, 12-month position is responsible for all aspects of the women’s volleyball program, including coaching, recruiting, player development, academic success, program administration, and NCAA compliance.
Responsibilities include:
Lead and manage all facets of the women’s volleyball program.
Recruit, develop, and retain student-athletes who align with Wingate’s academic and athletic standards.
Plan and conduct practices and competitions to achieve competitive success.
Monitor academic progress and support student-athlete development.
Oversee program administration, including scheduling, travel, budgeting, and equipment.
Supervise assistant coaches and support staff.
Ensure compliance with NCAA, conference, and university rules.
Represent the program positively within the university and community.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred).
Volleyball coaching experience at the collegiate or high-level club level.
Strong recruiting, leadership, and communication skills.
Commitment to NCAA compliance and student-athlete well-being.
